Positive Reflection
Reflecting helps you to develop your skills and review their effectiveness, rather than just carry on doing things as you have always done them. It is about questioning, in a positive way, what you do and why you do it and then deciding whether there is a better, or more efficient, way of doing it in the future.

I would like to start by saying When I applied for Amal, I had no idea what I will learn and my expectations were not at their peak. Now I have come this far in this journey, I can say without a doubt that Amal is one of the best things that have happened to me in my life.

I can see its impact when I am communicating with someone or when someone asks me about my future plans, Now I have a clear image in mind because of Amal’s activities related to goals and specifying our why’s.
If I have to share my favorite moment of the fellowship, It will be our fund-raising activity with the circle group.
First, we started our activity by making charts and boxes for fund-raising. We worked as a team and help each other out.

Then we started fundraising. From this activity, I experienced how to accept criticism and be patient. I learned how to convey our message in fewer words.
Some people appreciated us and some of them criticized us. Apart from that, the weather was very hot that day. It reminded us how much difficult it would be for Eidhi Sahib and increased his respect for our hearts.
We collected funds till noon.

During this process, we had to face a lot of hurdles. We started our fund's collection from Big institutes. We were laughed at, A Bank didn’t let us in, An Educational Institute’s Principal refused to talk to us.
At that time, none of the big organizations gave us funds. We didn’t lose hope, We started collecting funds from the streets, local shops.
We worked very hard. We were able to collect Rs 6200 of the total collection.

It was a very unique experience for me. Thank You Amal for giving me the opportunity to experience this and be part of this noble cause.
